With SQYZ, Timo Wuchner debuts a stand-alone chair that draws attention to the abilities of wood joinery through moments of delicate play.

Sustainably produced by carefully sourcing timber, aluminum, and linseed oil paint, the chair's design avoids composite materials entirely, and can be easily assembled with a simple mallet. Intricately sculpted pieces of ash are squeezed into aluminum cut-outs. Only the natural behavior of wood—expansion—is needed to secure the chair's construction.
